Cesira Iuso - Cesira Iuso Death, Cesira Iuso Obituary

October 4, 1943 – May 23, 2023

Cesira, beloved and devoted wife of her late husband Rocco, passed away peacefully at home on May 23, 2023, in the loving arms of her daughter Lucia. Born on October 4, 1943, in Alberona, Italy, her life was marked by fierce love, unwavering devotion, and a giving spirit that touched the lives of all who knew her. She was the loving mother to Joseph (Anna), Leonardo (Antonietta), and Lucia (Mark), cherished grandmother to Jonah, Maya, Noah, Rocco, Domenic (Ana), Leo (Olivia), Luca, Carlo, and her great-granddaughter Valerie.

Cesira and Rocco embarked on an incredible journey, migrating from Italy to Australia, where they built a new life together and later settled in Canada. No matter the challenges she faced, Cesira was determined to find ways to overcome them and persevere. Her resilience and unwavering spirit were an inspiration to those around her. Cesira’s love knew no boundaries, and she always extended a helping hand to those in need.

Cesira embraced the Blessed Sacrament with a deep devotion. Her faith was the foundation of her life, providing strength, solace, and guidance. Her connection with God was a source of comfort and inspiration, sustaining her through every obstacle. Cesira’s love extended beyond her faith, encompassing her family and especially her beloved grandchildren. She poured her heart and soul into their lives, offering them an abundance of love and joy. Her grandchildren held a special place in her heart, and she delighted in creating lasting memories with them.

Cesira’s loving presence allowed her to convey within her family and beyond; her knowledge, practical skills and valuable life lessons through cooking, preserving, and the importance of hands-on living that went well beyond the kitchen to the value of hard work and resilience. We celebrate the remarkable life she lived and the love she showered upon her family. May her memory serve as a reminder of the importance of faith, commitment, perseverance, and selflessness.

Rest well, dear Mother and may you find eternal peace in the embrace of God’s loving arms knowing that as Nonna, your love and generosity will live on and be forever treasured.
