This is pure greed – Nnewi man says as he receives marriage list from his bride’s family ahead of their traditional wedding

A Nigerian man from Nnewi, Anambra state has reacted to the ‘’list’ he received from his bride’s family ahead of their wedding. 

In a post shared on his X handle, the man shared a screenshot of a piece of paper with the list of items he was asked to provide before he can get married to his woman. The list had all kinds of things including cartons of soft  drinks and packs of cigarettes.

Reacting to the list, the man said this is crazy and that it smacks of pure greed.

While reacting to his post, some men that are married to girls from the East, said the list he received is not even much compared to the ones they received. One even said the list he received is one of the reasons he doesn’t speak to his father in-law.
