“They’ve given you something to pity, take it” – Erica Nlewedim blasts Nigerians following Neo and Ilebaye’s fight
Reality TV star and actress, Erica Nlewedim has slammed Nigerians for supporting Big Brother all-stars housemate, Ilebaye following her fight with fellow housemate, Neo.
This comes after a disagreement between Ilebaye and Neo Akpofure about harassment and unrequited love at Biggie’s home.
It would be noted that Ilebaye, the youngest housemate, has frequently been ‘picked on’ by her older colleagues.
In her evaluation of the events in the home, former BBNaija star Erica said that Nigerians enjoy being pitied.
She claimed that Ilebaye has made them feel sorry for them in order to get their vote to stay in the house.
She wrote;
“It’s no news that y’all love pity, they’ve given you something to pity, take it 
”
This did not sit well with netizens who opined that Erica’s success was also a result of pity from Nigerians.
Sparkle wrote; “You’re a product of pity…. You build your entire career and platform from pity… pity is even the reason you get acting gig because your acting skills cannot be the reason. It work for you and you called it Grace now it working for her you want to question grace?”
Usman commented; “You got the same pity while on the show
Because the people that voted for you did it from their own pockets
You didn’t send money to nobody to vote for you”
