Tems has extended her record as the most certified Nigerian female artist in the US with the latest certification received from the RIAA.
Grammy award-winning singer and performer Tems has extended her record as the most certified Nigerian female artist in the United States of America following the confirmation of two new certifications for the singer by the RIAA, the two new additions take the total number of her certification in the US to a total of four which is the highest for any female artist from the country.
Tems single Higher which is off her Leading Vibe EP has now been certified gold after selling over 500,000 units in the US alone, and the viral song Free Mind has also been certified Platinum in the country as well after selling over 1,000,000 units in the United States of America.
Reacting to this achievement by the singer, her manager, Muyiwa Awoniyi, took to his social media platform X to express his excitement; his post on social media read,
“Thank you Lord Free Mind Platinum, Higher Gold. Cheers to more la Familia @temsbaby @ShowDemCamp#TheLeadingVibe”
