Spokesperson of Nigeria Police Force, ACP Adejobi, reacts to reports a notorious criminal was recruited into the force
The spokesperson of the Nigeria Police Force, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, has reacted to reports that a notorious criminal has been recruited into the police force. Photos of the suspected criminal, Nasiru Abdullahi, A.K.A Chile Maidoki, posing in what appears to be police uniforms hit the internet on Monday, October 16.
Some Nigerians on X immediately called on Adejobi to authentic the report.
Responding, Adejobi mentioned that the men in such uniforms are not policemen but repentant individulas who have been mobilized into the constabulary scheme of Kano State.
Some Nigerian however disagree with him, arguing that the uniform worn by those in the Constabulary scheme is different from the ones worn by the suspected Criminal.
Adejobi went on to ask that Nigerians wait for comments from the Kano state police command.
