Reality TV star, Princess, has shared the story of how her Range Rover was stolen at a restaurant in Maitama, Abuja.
The BBNaija star said on November 28, 2023, at about 7pm after leaving work, she went to the restaurant to have dinner. She said she had the starter and asked that the main meal be packed for her as take-out as she wanted to go home. She said she met with an acquaintance there and when it was about time to leave, she couldn’t find her car key.
Princess said she emptied her bag, tossed the table and couldn’t find it. She said she called the attention of the managers and they told her ‘’sorry”. Princess said after searching for the key for a while, she then decided to leave her car in front of the security post in the restaurant while she looked for a way to get a spare key.
She said she left the restaurant and returned the next day and was stunned to see that her car wasn’t there. She said the security guards said they saw the car being driven off by someone the next morning. According to her, the hotel managers told her she only told them that her car key was missing and that they didn’t know she had left the car behind.
She said she was stunned when the hotel managers couldn’t show her any CCTV footage of the entrance of the hotel as they did not have any.
The robbers were eventually found and one of them turned out to be a staff of the hotel. According to her, the staff found the key, called his friend, found a way to divert the attention of the security and then drove off with her car. The car was eventually found but it was vandalized.
