Once bride price is abolished, most men will respect their wives more – Nigerian man says

A Nigerian man, Uche Alua, has said that bride price is the main reason Nigerian men treat their wives as property. 

According to him, if the payment of bride price is abolished, most men will respect their wives more.

“It is the primary reason why many Nigerian men treat their spouse as property. Once bride price is abolished, most men will respect their wives more,” he said on Monday.
