A Nigerian lady has revealed that her cousin who is a medical doctor, paid N1.5m as bride price and an additional N60k to collect the list of marriage items he will buy.
She said the bride’s family collected the huge sum because, according to them, their daughter is a ‘graduate’
“Today, My cousin paid 1.5million as bride price and 60k to collect the list plus the things on the list. Girl’s family said its 1.5million because she’s a “graduate” . My cousin is a Medical Doctor/ Surgeon but oh well! It doesn’t matter to them,” she wrote on Saturday, October 28.
