Naira closes at N742.9/$ in I&E window

The Naira on Tuesday, July 18, closed at N742.93/$ at the investors and exporters (I&E) window, showing a 6.58 percent appreciation. 

This is coming after the Naira tumbled to an all-time low of N803.9/$ last Friday.

Data from FMDQ Securities Exchange revealed an opening rate of N788.17 to the dollar on Tuesday. The local currency subsequently hit an intra-day trading high of N831 and a low of N707.99 before settling at N742.93.
