Man who fired gunshots in the open at Ladipo market has been identified – Police spokesperson, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi gives update

The spokesperson of the Nigeria Police Force, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, has said that the man who fired gunshots in the open at Ladipo market on Tuesday, October 17, has been identified.

The man shot into the air to celebrate the reopening of the popular market sealed by the Lagos state government in September over environmental offenses.

Adejobi had earlier vowed to ensure that the man gets identified and the ‘’needful” done to him.

In an update given on his X handle this morning, Adejobi stated that the Lagos state police command has identified the man and will speak on it as soon as possible.
