Instead of ‘No gree for anybody’, can we use ‘I will not accept for anybody? – Comedian Akpororo asks Police (video)
Comedian Akpororo has taken to social media to pose an interesting question to the police.
The police spokesperson, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, has kicked against the use of the 2024 slogan ‘No gree for anybody’. According to him, the slogan poses a threat to the peace of the country. Mixed reactions trailed Adejobi’s comment with many wondering how the slogan poses a threat to the country.
Reacting to Adejobi’s dismissal of the slogan, Akpororo in a video shared on Instagram, asked if Nigerians can use the English version of the slogan which is ‘’I will not accept for anybody’ instead of the pidgin and popularly used version, ‘No gree for anybody’
