Insecurity: Aisha Yesufu, others react after Lawmaker Wale Ahmed said corps members should stay in any state they are posted

Activist, Aisha Yesufu and other Nigerians have reacted after Lawmaker, Wale Ahmed urged corps members to stay in any state they are posted to.
Mr Ahmed advised prospective National Youth Service Corps members to stop attempts to influence their postings and show a sense of duty to Nigeria.
Wale Ahmed (APC-Lagos) emphasised the importance of serving in various parts of the country to gain a holistic life experience.
Speaking in Abuja on Monday, October 9, Ahmed underlined the need for the Federal Government to fortify critical institutions, including security infrastructure and the NYSC programme.
Ahmed called on governments at all levels to prioritise adequate security measures, provide essential social amenities, and increase the monthly stipends and allowances of NYSC members.
However, Aisha responded saying no body should be forced to go to where they don’t want to go to as the government cannot assure them of their safety.
