‘I thought he’d been married’ – Usher’s ex-wife, Tameka Foster reveals she was surprised by his wedding to Jennifer Goicoechea

R&B singer, Usher’s ex-wife, Tameka Foster has revealed she was surprised by his wedding to Jennifer Goicoechea, because she thought the pair were already married.
The fashion stylist, 53, spoke about the U Got It Bad singer’s, 45, Vegas wedding to his longtime girlfriend, 39, in a new interview with TMZ.
When asked about the nuptials, she shared: ‘I thought he’d been married. I don’t know. I stopped keeping up with that type of thing.’
‘That’s like his second… third… I don’t know. I don’t even keep up with his personal,’ she added.
Tameka stressed that what matters to her is that he is a good father to their two teenage sons, Usher ‘Cinco’ Raymond V, 16, and Navid Ely, 15.

‘He’s a good dad. That’s what I care about,’ she explained.
She also praised his recent Super Bowl halftime show on Sunday, which she attended, stating: ‘He’s a dope performer, cause did y’all see the halftime show?’
Tameka was Usher’s stylist for a few years before they began dating in 2005. They got engaged in 2007 and got married that same year in Atlanta.
They also welcomed their first son that year, followed by their younger son in 2008.
Usher filed for divorce from Foster in June 2009 in Atlanta, and the divorce was finalized that same year.
The pair then battled it out over child custody for three years. In 2012 a judge awarded Usher primary custody of his two sons.
Usher also has two children with Goicoechea – daughter Sovereign Bo, three, and son Sire Castrello, two.

The superstar singer and Jennifer officially tied the knot on Sunday after his Super Bowl performance, days after obtaining a marriage license in Las Vegas.
