Israel Adesanya has knocked out Alex Pereira in the second round of their highly anticipated rematch, regaining his middleweight UFC title belt.
Adesanya’s stunning victory marks the end of Pereira’s reign as the middleweight champion and cements Adesanya’s position as one of the most dominant fighters in the UFC.

The fight was an intense battle from the very beginning, with both fighters exchanging blows and showing their skills in the Octagon. However, it was Adesanya who proved to be the stronger fighter on the night, landing a powerful punch that sent Pereira crashing to the canvas.
With this victory, Adesanya has now avenged his loss to Pereira in their first encounter and regained the middleweight title he lost to the Brazilian in November 2022.
