Chaos ensues as omo onile (landowners) clash in Magodo Isheri (video)

Hoodlums said to be omo onile (land owners) are clashing with their counterparts in the Magodo Isheri area of Lagos State.

According to reports, the omo oniles came with cutlasses and engaged each other in a fight.

They also locked the estate gate, leaving residents trapped.

One faction of the omo onile claim they have a court judgement that granted them ownership of land in the community and they were there to enforce this.

However, they met resistance from another faction, resulting in a breakdown of law and order in the area.

Residents say they have been locked in since morning and are unable to leave their estate. They add that the hoodlums are insisting they are there to claim their Magodo land back.
