AFCON 2023: To get South Africa Visa go hard now – Super Eagles striker Boniface mocks Bafana Bafana
Super Eagles of Nigeria and Bayern Leverkusen striker, Victor Boniface has mocked South Africa stating that it will be difficult for Nigerians to obtain a South Africa visa after their loss to the Super Eagles in the semi-final of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
Nigeria defeated Bafana Bafana 4-2 on Penalties to qualify for the final of the competition. The game ended 1-1 after 120 minutes on Wednesday night, February 7, then moved to penalties which Nigeria won.
Reacting to the win, Victor Boniface;
“To be NIGERIAN…You no no Wetinx God do for you This country so sweet,” the Bayer Leverkusen man wrote on X.
“To get South Africa VIsa to go hard die now,” he added.
Nigeria will now play the host nation, Ivory Coast, in the final of the tournament on Sunday, February 11, while South Africa and the Democratic Republic of Congo will lock horns for the third-place prize on Saturday.
