We all share the same fate.
The Mission: Impossible franchise has featured plenty of car chases, including Mission: Impossible 2’s cliffside sports car tango, Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation’s chaotic Marrakesh pursuit, and Hunt’s Paris escape in Mission: Impossible – Fallout.
However, to keep the film series’ obligatory sequence fresh, Dead Reckoning Part One aims to play with the set piece by hindering the protagonists in multiple ways.
With both Hunt and Grace shackled together in a relatively underperforming vehicle, the IMF agent must use more than horsepower to escape his pursuers.
The upcoming entry also boasts one of the most dangerous motorcycle stunts ever filmed, rivaling that of GoldenEye’s opening sequence. Both scenes feature the film’s lead spy ride a motorcycle off a cliff; however, Cruise has opted to perform the stunt himself.
Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One could be another landmark entry in action movie history.
