Juventus forward, Cristiano Ronaldo has been advised to join a different Premier League club and snub the reported offer from Manchester United.

According to Watford striker, Troy Deeney, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner would fit better at Wolves instead of Old Trafford.

Cristiano Ronaldo left Manchester United for Real Madrid in 2009 for a world record 80 million Euros fee and has since gone on to be one of the greatest players to ever play the game.

The Portuguese’s future in Turin is said to be unclear following reports that Juventus would allow him leave should a suitable offer be received. The 35-year old who is on the radar of both Paris St Germain and Inter Milan is said to have considered a return to Manchester United where he made a name for himself.

However, Watford striker, Troy Deeney is not convinced he should go back to the club where he won a Champions League trophy as well as his first Ballon d’Or.

Instead, the Englishman believes Wolves would be a better fit for Cristiano Ronaldo than Manchester United due to the large number of Portuguese players playing for Wolves.

“I think I was more looking at a club like Wolves with the Portugal connection. Whoever is getting him is getting an unbelievable talent. This season I think six in four he has already got in Serie A. You are not going to get the same Ronaldo you had at Manchester United. I think that’s always going to be the comparison. You look at Gareth Bale, for example, he has gone back to Tottenham. You are comparing him already to the one that left to go to Madrid,” he said.
