The youth goalkeeper was born in Greenwich, London, but is eligible to play for the other two African countries.

This is not the first time Nigeria and England will be battling out for football stars, with a recent one coming over Arsenal player, Bukayo Saka.

Nigeria, however, beat England to former Arsenal academy graduate, Alex Iwobi who now plies his trade for Everton. Nevertheless, the European country has gotten the better of the African giants for much of the time.

This time, they will go head-to-head for another prize, Ovie Ejeheri. However, they are joined by another African country this time – Uganda. The goalkeeper is in line for a professional contract as he has already played for Arsenal’s U-18 and U-23 side having graduated through the club’s Hale End academy.

The English FA is keen on the promising talent and has already called him up to join in their age group goalkeeper training camps in December.

Ovie Ejeheri has been with the Gunners since the age of 5 and he is yet to sign a professional contract, but may, very soon as clubs and countries begin to circle.
