Manchester United have recorded a stunning victory over fellow Premier side, Southampton after beating the Saints 9-0 in a hugely one-sided fixture.
The victory means United have the joint-highest margin of victory in Premier League history. Southampton were also on the wrong end of the result when a drubbing of this sort happened after conceding 9 at home to Leicester City in October 2019.
The game began in the worst possible way for Southampton after 19-year-old Jankewitz got sent off in the 2nd minute for a nasty foul on Scott McTominay.
It spelt dominance for Manchester United as they capitalized on the error from the Saints youngster to become the highest scoring team in the Premier League this campaign.
Bednarek also got sent off in the 86th minute after bringing down Martial in the box who was clean through on goal.
Goals from Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Rashford, Bednarek (OG), Cavani, McTominay, Bruno Fernandes, James, and a Martial brace were enough for the Old Trafford side.
