One Kenechukwu Okeke, a self-acclaimed activist has dragged former Super Eagles striker, Kanu Nwankwo and musicians Davido, Burna Boy, Falz alongside 46 others before an Abuja Magistrate Court for the roles they played during the #EndSARS protests across the country.
According to the suit filed before the Court of Law by the complainant, he claimed his properties were destroyed and all the 50 defendants he listed in the complaint must be brought to justice for the alleged roles they played during the #EndSARS protests.
During what has been an eventful one month for the Nigerian youths with the #EndSARS protests trending across the world, Super Eagles legend, Kanu Nwankwo lent his voice to the movement and will now face a Magistrate court for doing so.
On October 13, 2020, Atlanta ’96 hero, Kanu Nwankwo, like many other prominent Nigerians across the world like Davido and Burna Boy, joined in the agitation stating his support. He also implored those protesting to ensure they remain safe so that no more lives would be lost.
Captioning the video of support, Kanu wrote:

Kanu Nwankwo is not the only high-profile name on the list, Nigerian musicians, Davido, Falz, and Burna Boy, Peter and Paul Okoye, Banky W are among the list of 50 people the law suit is against.
He also listed Pastor Sam Adeyemi, Aisha Yesufu, Dr. Joe Abah, Kiki Mordi, Uche Jombo among many other prominent personalities.
Social media comedians, Taooma and Mr Macaroni were also part of the defendants of the lawsuit.
