Naijawide, the Home of Entertainment can confirm that German tactician, Thomas Tuchel is in line to replace the Englishman. Chelsea have decided against replacing Lampard with Allegri or Nagelsman as both managers are unavailable with the former reportedly considering other options.
The former Chelsea star has only been in charge for eighteen months, but after a huge investment in the summer which was supposed to be followed by a massive improvement from last season, the club’s highest goalscorer has failed to impress and has now paid with his job.

The statement released by Chelsea confirming the rumours Lampard will be sacked today reads as follows:
“This has been a very difficult decision, and not one that the owner and the Board have taken lightly.
“We are grateful to Frank for what he has achieved in his time as Head Coach of the Club.
“However, recent results and performances have not met the Club’s expectations, leaving the club mid-table without any clear path to sustained improvement.”
Confidence in the Chelsea squad seemed to have plummeted, and his new signings including German duo, Kai Havertz and Timo Werner have failed to justify the purpose for which they were bought.
Further reports claim that Chelsea are looking to replace Frank Lampard with German tactician, Thomas Tuchel. The former Borussia Dortmund manager is currently unemployed after being sacked by Paris St. Germain recently. The announcement of Tuchel is expected to be confirmed soon.
