There is an ongoing protest by members of the Nigerian Labour Congress, NLC, across the country over hardships triggered by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s fuel subsidy removal.
During the action, Ayuba Suleiman, the chairman of the Nigerian Labour Congress in Kaduna state, disclosed that part of the demands of the union is for an upward review of the minimum wage to N200,000.
While speaking at the protest ground, Ayuba added that members of the union also demand that fuel price be reverted to ₦185 per litre.
