Nollywood veteran Kate Henshaw has sent a message to critics who have consistently age-shamed her for stating her opinions on social media.
In a series of tweets she shared via her Twitter page on Sunday, August 8, 2021, the award winning movie actress, who won the Africa Movie Academy Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role for her performance in the movie “Stronger than Pain”, took to social media to react to those who often age-shame her whenever they don’t agree with some of her tweets.
The movie star also bragged about her age, stating that she’s owning her age without any fear or Favour.
“Anytime you see my tweets that does not agree with your brain alignment, you come with phrases like ‘yeyebrity and old age’ can you please be original with the abuse at least? Insipid lot. Seems you don’t know that your words have no effect on me,”
“You dey heap curse on your head if you talk say you no go ever old. See me owning my age without fear or favour. I dare you or your better half to do same.”
Henshaw who recently celebrated her 50th birthday had fans thrilled at her youthful physique for days after she shared her pictures.
It’s not the first time fans will troll the mother of one for one of her controversial tweets.
The Cross Rivers State born movie star is known to always voice out her opinions which sometimes turn out to be controversial.
Kate Henshaw married British-born Roderick James Nuttal in 1999 and they welcomed their baby girl, Gabrielle Nuttall in 2000. The marriage lasted for 12 years before the union crumbled in 2011.
