By debuting at No. 1 in 56 countries in the first week after its release, Burna Boy’s Twice as Tall has achieved the biggest opening weekend ever for an album (local or international) on the African continent. The album also has the biggest opening weekend ever by an African artist album on Apple Music globally.
The Nigerian music industry is doing really well both and abroad and this new landmark by Burna Boy will come as fresh boost to Afro Beat stratosphere.
Twice as Tall has only been out for a week, and is already doing numbers. Maybe, this is what launches the African Giant to the Grammy he lost last year which inspired this album.
