The artiste has noted that the date of the extrajudicial killings will forever be etched in his memory as he releases a song to commemorate the day.
The ‘Ye’ crooner has said nothing can ever justify the murder of peaceful protesters. The events Burna Boy recorded a song for happened on Tuesday, October 20 and have been labelled the ‘Lekki Massacre’ since then.
The clip that was posted online shows the singer clearly stating how much it is unacceptable to kill peaceful agitators who were only exercising their rights.
Odogwu as he is popularly called has regularly called for the end to Police brutality before and during the EndSARS protests.
He released several billboards across the country which carried the hashtag EndSARS and now he has recorded a song to show how he feels about the agitation.
Burna Boy, prior to releasing this song has also recently stated that he has not slept since the Lekki incident as it has traumatised him.

According to the singer, every time he sets out to sleep and closes his eyes, all he sees is the massacre.
Peaceful protests in the country were met with an abrupt end on October 20, 2020 after security operatives were deployed to the Lekki Toll Gate.
After CCTV cameras and light cut, the operatives opened fire on the peaceful protesters killing many.
